About Us

Foreign doctors face a complex and time-consuming process when seeking to work in Germany. At Get2Germany, we are building an innovative and scalable platform to streamline this process and connect international healthcare professionals with German hospitals and clinics.

Our startup is supported by the Berlin Startup Stipendium and is affiliated with Freie Universität Berlin.

Your Responsibilities

As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our platform. Your tasks will include:

  • Conceptualizing and designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for our web platform.
  • Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize and test designs.
  • Continuously optimizing and improving existing UI/UX components based on user feedback and data insights.
  • Designing for scalability, ensuring that the platform can handle a growing user base efficiently.
  • Collaborating closely with developers and product managers to align design with technical feasibility and business goals.
  • Implementing design systems and maintaining brand consistency across the platform.
  • Ensuring accessibility (WCAG compliance) and responsive design principles are met.

Your Profile

We are looking for a creative and structured thinker with a strong problem-solving mindset. Ideally, you bring:

  • At least 4 semesters of studies in Graphic Design, Communication Design, Media Design, Web Design, or Product Design.
  • Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
  • Experience with design systems and scalable UI components.
  • A solid understanding of user-centered design (UCD), usability principles, and accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with responsive and mobile-first design approaches.
  • Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, React) is a plus, but not required.
  • Fluent German is a plus, good English skills is required.
