The reporting is your responsibility, not the clinic's. In brief:
• As a doctor, you are subject to the chamber in the federal state where you work and generally have to report to the responsible Landesärztekammer within a few weeks of starting work. This also applies with a Berufserlaubnis, not just with an Approbation.
• You usually need to bring your Berufserlaubnis or Approbation, employment contract or confirmation of employment, ID, and registration certificate.
