Hello Cecil, yes, you can generally get feedback on your failed attempt - it is important to distinguish whether you mean the Kenntnisprüfung (KP) or the Fachsprachprüfung (FSP). For the Kenntnisprüfung, many Landesärztekammern regulate that after a failure, the examination board gives recommendations for repetition, e.g. indications of areas in need of improvement such as anamnesis, language skills or medical communication, as well as literature recommendations. The earliest possible repetition period is also mentioned. A standardized feedback on the FSP, on the other hand, is not legally prescribed and falls within the responsibility of the respective Ärztekammern.
