Is Hospitation in Germany worth it before the Fachsprachprüfung (FSP) if I'm B2 and still waiting for Approbation Germany steps? I want better medical German and to understand ward rounds and handovers.

Hospitation in Germany can be excellent for Fachsprachprüfung (FSP) preparation because you get real medical German exposure: ward rounds, discharge talks, and handover language. But it should support, not replace, targeted FSP training. A practical plan:
- Daily: note 10 new phrases and do 10 to 15 minutes anamnesis role play after work
- 2 to 3 times per week: write a mini Arztbrief (8 to 12 lines) based on a case you observed
- Weekly: one full FSP simulation (patient talk, documentation, doctor to doctor handover)
This keeps your Approbation Germany timeline moving while your German improves.
