Hospitation insurance: what do they want?

Clinic replied “we need proof of insurance for Hospitation”. Is it liability insurance, health insurance, or both?

Most clinics mean liability (Haftpflicht) for Hospitation. Quick check: ask them “Haftpflicht oder Krankenversicherung?” so you don’t buy the wrong one.

Can you share if it’s “Berufshaftpflicht” specifically or normal private Haftpflicht? I’m confused by the terms.

My clinic also asked for “Haftpflicht + Impfstatus” (MMR, HepB). Insurance was easy, but vaccination proof took longer.

For my Hospitation they wanted *Haftpflichtversicherung* (liability). Health insurance they didn’t ask bc i already had travel insurance.
