Hello Elif, yes, it is generally possible to work as a Medizinische Fachangestellte (MFA) in Germany while waiting for the Kenntnisprüfung (KP) - provided you meet the legal requirements for starting work. You do not need a medical Approbation to work as an MFA. Many international doctors choose exactly this path to gain initial experience in the German healthcare system, improve their Fachsprache, and secure themselves financially. It is important that your current visa allows for the corresponding activity - therefore, you should clarify in advance with your Ausländerbehörde and, if necessary, the Agentur für Arbeit whether the employment relationship can be approved. In many cases, this is easily possible as long as you are in the ongoing recognition procedure. A good example is Suryann, one of our participants: She is currently working as an MFA in Berlin and is preparing for the Fachsprachprüfung with our support. You can find her experience report here: get2germany.com/de/blog/erfahrungsbericht-suryann If you have any questions or need support - we are happy to help you. Best regards, René from Get2Germany
