Berlin, November 4, 2024 – Get2Germany has been awarded 1st place in the “People” category at the Berlin’s Social Enterprises 2024 awards, hosted by Social Economy Berlin. The award recognizes our work as a social enterprise that supports international healthcare professionals – especially doctors and nurses – through the complex professional recognition process in Germany, while also helping to improve medical care in underserved regions.
The award ceremony took place at the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK Berlin) and was supported by the Berlin Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises, represented by Senator Franziska Giffey, who presented the award alongside members of the jury.
We are honored that our mission as an innovative, impact-driven company has been recognized in this way. This award affirms our commitment to making the integration of international professionals not just efficient, but deeply human – and to actively addressing the healthcare worker shortage in Germany.
A heartfelt thank you to the jury, our partners, mentors, and our fantastic team, whose dedication drives our vision forward every single day.
In addition to the €5,000 prize, the award includes an Explorer Membership at Impact Hub Berlin, giving us access to a strong network of social entrepreneurs and community events.
We warmly congratulate all other awardees in the “Planet” and “Transformation” categories – especially ReDI School of Digital Integration and WeAreVillage, who were honored alongside us in the “People” category.
