Hello Ngum, in Berlin, a C1 medical certificate is not mandatory for registration for the Fachsprachprüfung (FSP). The decisive factor is that you can prove your language level is at least B2, for example with a telc B2 certificate. The FSP itself then tests your medical specialist language comprehension at C1 level. The Fachsprachprüfung is administered by the Ärztekammer Berlin, and registration is done through the Landesamt für Gesundheit und Soziales (LAGeSo) after applying for the Approbation/Berufserlaubnis. Here you will find all the information on registering for the FSP in Berlin: 👉 https://www.berlin.de/lageso/_assets/gesundheit/berufe-im-gesundheitswesen/akademisch/aerztin-arzt/information_fachsprachentest_arzt.pdf and https://www.aekb.de/aerzt-innen/aus-dem-ausland-ins-ausland/fachsprachpruefung Registration for the FSP usually works as follows:
After submitting your application for Approbation to the Landesamt für Gesundheit und Soziales (LAGeSo), you will receive a confirmation of receipt. Only then can you register with the Ärztekammer Berlin. There you pay the fee (currently 420 €), receive an invitation and the examination date. You can find even more information on FSP registration in our blog post:
