Get2Germany Showcases Digital Solutions to Accelerate the Recognition of International Healthcare Professionals
During an official visit to Berlin’s innovation district “Zukunftsort Berlin Südwest,” Get2Germany had the opportunity to present its digital platform for the recognition of international healthcare professionals. Berlin’s Governing Mayor Kai Wegner, Deputy Mayor and Senator Franziska Giffey, and FU Berlin President Prof. Günter M. Ziegler received on-site insights into innovative approaches to strengthening Germany’s healthcare workforce.
As a spin-off of Freie Universität Berlin, Get2Germany develops digital tools that make the complex recognition process for doctors and other healthcare professions more transparent, efficient, and predictable. The goal: enabling qualified professionals to enter clinics and practices more quickly—and contributing to improved healthcare delivery across the country.
“The demand for international healthcare professionals has never been higher. At the same time, we lose valuable time due to complicated and non-transparent administrative processes,” says Dr. René Rheimann, CEO of Get2Germany. “Our platform demonstrates how digital innovation can directly address critical bottlenecks — ultimately benefiting patients.”
Get2Germany extends its sincere thanks to all partners involved for the constructive dialogue and invitation: the Berlin Senate Chancellery, Zukunftsorte Berlin, Regional Incubator Berlin Southwest, FUB Innovation, Science & Startups, and all institutions contributing to innovation in healthcare and workforce development.

CEO Dr. René Rheimann presents the social vision behind Get2Germany.
