• Look at the Nebenbestimmungen on the back of the card or on the supplementary sheet. §16d permits often allow a limited amount of side work, sometimes expressed in hours or days per year, sometimes restricted to work related to the recognition.
• If the wording is unclear, ask the Ausländerbehörde in writing and keep the reply. A verbal yes from a counter clerk will not help you later.
• Never take work that exceeds the stated limit. Violating the conditions of a residence title can affect not only the current permit but also future applications, which is a very expensive way to earn a few hundred euros.
• Anything medical still requires a Berufserlaubnis, so a Minijob here means non medical work.
