• Contact 10-20 hospitals directly, preferably the chief physician's secretary
• Clarify the visa: for short hospitations, Schengen is sometimes enough, longer ones get complicated
• Without Approbation or BE, you are not allowed to treat patients independently
• Many institutions expect at least German B1/B2
